Open a repository and use Repository options. Its available controls depend on whether it is standalone or owned by another resource.

Standalone repositories

The repository creator or workspace owner can use Edit repository and Delete repository on a standalone repository. Use its access control to manage its workspace audience where permitted. Public visibility permits workspace reading. Writes still require the appropriate participation, ownership, or delegated access and agent operation policy.

Owned repositories

A repository owned by a wiki or another resource inherits that parent’s access. The standalone edit and delete controls are not offered for it. Use the parent resource to manage its identity, access, and lifecycle. For example, deleting a wiki deletes its content repository and history.

Branch and revision views

Use branch, files, history, and merge-request views to inspect the repository’s content and changes. Selecting a branch changes your view; it does not by itself change the repository’s global default branch.

Your Git URL

Copy my Git URL provides a private URL for your access when the repository is ready. Do not share it as a team credential. Give collaborators resource access so they can use their own connection.

GitHub connections

GitHub-backed resources also depend on the connected installation and repositories it is authorized to access. Changing provider permissions can affect availability independently of workspace membership. Disconnecting the organization’s GitHub connection makes affected workspace repository resources unavailable until the account is reconnected. Review Integration settings before disconnecting. See Wiki settings for wiki-owned source repositories. For a step-by-step branch review workflow, conflict handling, and uncertain merge results, see Repositories and merge requests.
