An agent can ask a specific person for a decision or missing information. Find your open questions in Activity → Needs you, or in Needs your answer in the agent’s composer.

Review and answer

Open the question and read its context before selecting an answer. An option in a single-question card is a submit action. If you need more context, inspect the agent’s conversation before choosing it. Only the person the agent asked can submit the answer. Access to the shared agent session does not let you answer a teammate’s question.

Questions and ongoing work

Answer through the card so the response is associated with the original question. An unrelated composer message, a reload, or marking Activity read does not resolve it. A question can be visible while other activity and queued requests remain. It does not necessarily describe the state of every task or child agent. Where offered, Stop task stops the request without submitting an answer. Stopping does not undo changes already made. If the managed agent is disabled, enable it before answering.

Recover from a failed answer

A refresh failure retains an already loaded card and the answer you are composing. If sending fails, retry from the card. A question may already have been answered, changed, or closed when you submit. Refresh and review its current state if the app reports a conflict. Do not send a separate task merely to repeat the answer. See Catch up with Activity and Sending, steering, and stopping.
